大竹警察署生活安全課より依頼を受け、Sunクラス（5歳児）の子どもたちが、犯罪防止の広報活動に協力しました。グループに分かれてアナウンス音源を収録し、地域の皆さんに呼びかけます。

日ごろから英語でモーニングアナウンスメントを行っている子どもたちですが、今回はいつもより大きなマイクと少し違う言葉に挑戦。最初は緊張した表情も見られましたが、収録を終えるとホッとした笑顔に変わりました。

10月1日から31日までの間、この音源がパトロールカーから流れ、地域を巡回します。
子どもたちにとっても貴重な体験となり、「自分たちの声でまちの安全を守るんだ！」という気持ちにワクワクしながら、大切な役割を担ってくれました。

At the request of the Otake Police Station’s Community Safety Division, the Sun Class (5-year-olds) children helped with a crime prevention awareness campaign.
The children split into small groups to record announcement messages encouraging community safety.
They usually do morning announcements in English, so they were prepared for the challenge of using a larger microphone and new Japanese phrases.
Although some looked a little nervous at first, their expressions turned into proud smiles once the recording was finished.
From October 1st to 31st, their recorded messages will be broadcast from patrol cars as they drive through the neighborhood.
It was a valuable experience for the children — they were excited to take on such an important role, feeling proud that “our voices can help keep our town safe!”
